Lighting technology with glowing Organic LED wallpaper. Light emitting diodes convert electrical energy to light with high efficiency. There are devices that produce 10 time the light of an incandescent bulb for the same power. We are not told in the article what the light per Watt is for these organic products, but I assume the aim is to provide the same high efficiency. I like the possibility of more distributed light with a spectrum similar to the sun, maybe this lighting could be solar powered – charge batteries in the day to provide power for these at night. 30/12/2009.
